Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS)

The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) is an international, non-profit organization serving over 2,400 members from more than 50 countries. The UHMS is the primary source of scientific information for diving and hyperbaric medicine physiology worldwide.

The 43rd UHMS Annual Scientific Meeting is designed to be a forum for exchange of ideas in undersea and hyperbaric medicine, both scientific and practical, among physicians, researchers and other allied health professionals. The UHMS Annual Scientific Meeting consists of abstract and poster presentations, plenary sessions, luncheons, the annual Bangasser and Kronheim Lectures, and social events. There will be exhibits from a number of wound care, hyperbaric, and diving vendors.

Dr. Fenil Shah, CEO of eMedSim was invited in this Scientific Meeting and his submitted abstract on Virtual Simulation and its implications on the Hyperbaric Medical Community, by Mr. R. Shah was accepted for Poster Presentation.

has been accepted for POSTER presentation by the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine Society Scientific Committee. We wish to extend our congratulations and formally invite you to present your work at the 2010 Annual Scientific Meeting being held at the Tradewinds Island Beach Resort, St. Pete Beach, FL USA. The inclusive meeting dates are 3-5 June 2010 2010. Specific session assignments will be forwarded to you by 23 Apr 2010. In the interim, general poster formatting and display instructions can be found on the UHMS website. As previously noted, for those authors awaiting confirmation of presentation acceptance prior to finalizing registration for the Annual Scientific Meeting, the ‘Early Registration’ pricing will be extended for one week subsequent to the date of this notification.

Should your abstract be additionally honored for presentation in an oral format, separate correspondence regarding this added selection will also be forwarded by 23 Apr 2010.
