Wound care CME courses
Wound healing is an intricate process in which the skin or another organ-tissue repairs itself after injury. In order to understand Wound Healing it is important to understand the basic tenets of wound healing physiology and recognize factors that can cause compromised healing. A course on wound Healing needs to discuss the assessment and classification of chronic wounds that allows for implementation of clinical algorithms for initial management and to recognize the scientific basis supporting the management of chronic wounds.
Continuing Medical Education (CME) is education that helps those in the medical community to maintain competence and learn about new and developing areas of their field.
